The 37° JIC connection is widely used in hydraulic systems. When the straight threads are engaged, the 37° male seat seals on the 37° female flare seat and creates a seal. The JIC is known to give a better seal than standard Pipe threads or NPT threads. The JIC male union tee is used to connect 3 female JIC connections together in a tee configuration. Suitable for a wide range of fluids. Type 316 stainless steel provides maximum corrosion-resistance.
